One of them decides to do it about her mother: Cecilia Magni Camino, Commander Tamara, militant of the Frente Patriótico Manuel Rodriguez. Her heroine begins to become problematic when the familiar and the intimate are mixed with the official story.
“The queens of the street”. August 4, 5 and 6. Company: Arte Independiente Producciones Teatro. With a format that rescues the style of cabaret theater, two actresses use music and sarcastic humor to question the roles assigned to women in the current social and cultural context.
“Iran #3037. Political sexual violence in dictatorship”. August 11, 12 and 13. Plataforma Escena Critica y Memoria Company. The work is an exercise in memory and symbolic reparation to make sexual political violence visible as a specific crime of violation of human rights committed during the military dictatorship in Chile, which takes as its setting the former Venda Sexy torture center.
