50 years after the military Coup , the exhibition seeks to make visible the history of people who were born abroad or who left Chile being  boys and girls, after the events of September 1973.

These memories, images and stories have been materialized through the artisanal technique of arpilleras, which has traditionally served as a tool of expression and denunciation of human rights violations in Chile.

Each textile piece also presents the story of the memory and/or image of each author. They are personal stories that reflect the mark that past experiences left on each artist. Mainly, they highlight themes such as uprooting, cultural shock, identity, territory, childhood, imagination, hope, loneliness, departure, reunion, exile, solidarity and injustice.
