During the upcoming month of March, the Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral will present the play “Mañana es otro país” a play which entwines the exile voices and dreams of travelling. A little girl and her mother get on a dark loading bay of a truck, starting an unknown and uncertain trip. She imagines she’s on her way to an unknown planet in a spaceship. They will have hide behind a horse and stay very quiet. But, why can they only carry two bags, leaving almost everything behind that was once theirs? What should they take with them? The main character begins her trip to a promised land, fleeing from a broken country; just so their future could be a possibility in different lands. “Mañana es otro país” it’s a play that was created in Belgium, Slovenia, England, Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary and France. An original play for Chile made in collaboration with the actress María José Parga. Where: Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral, room N2. (Building B, 2nd floor). When: From March 9^th to March 30^th.
