Galería Bicentenario in Estación Mapocho invites to the exhibition “The golden age of magazine theater in Chile 1960-1973” A fascinating collection of photographs captured by Julio Bustamante Sotello, a noted photographer who documented the vibrant nightlife and entertainment scene in Chile during the 1960s and early 1970s. The images capture humor, sketches, actors, musicians, singers, dancers, showgirls and vedettes from the Bim Bam Bum at the Teatro Ópera, the Tap Room, the Media Noche Club, the Nuria, the Picaresque and other emblematic venues. The collection, conserved, digitized and documented by @cenfotoudp transports us to a time of splendor and bohemianism, offering an intimate and detailed vision of an era that marked the history of entertainment in Chile.
