Plazas inside GAM become gathering points where you can enjoy the free lessons to connect with the art of movement and community. An open invitation for every person that wishes to be part of the joy of dancing in an open space! PROGRAM: Saturday, November 16th: Freestyle Hip Hop class given by Nicolás Cancino, mentor with a degree in Dance and Choreography from UNIACC university. Has participated in international workshops and festivals, and as the director of Doyoh School, has played a main role in the urban Chilean scene. Sunday, November 17th: Old Way Vogue class, which comes from inside of the Ballroom community as the most classic way of Voguing, characterized by the lineal strokes, right angles and a precise and elegant execution, especially for upper body parts. This lesson is taught by Kari Ninja Keller/Kari Navarrete, member of Iconic House of Ninja and Pioneer Kiki House of Keller, Art graduate majoring Dance in Universidad de Chile. Saturday, November 30th: Collaborative Twerk lesson given by Andrea, Camila and Dian from the Sudakas Sudadas group. During the lesson you’ll explore the pelvis’ mobility from Twerk, as dancing and context found in this territory and the chances, from this, of sensitive pleasure. Sunday, December 1st:  Contemporary Afro Jazz Dance lesson taught by Evens Clercema, Haitian choreographer and dancer which has focused his work into Afro Haitians and contemporary jazz dance. Clercema now-a-days works as coordinator of vocational teams and as contemporary and African dance professor at Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH). He also is an artistic director and choreographer of Compañía Arte & Cultura JAFCO América and chairman of the Intercultural Foundation JAFCO AMERICANA. Where: GAM, Zócalo Plaza.
