Under the musical direction of Evelino Pidò and Pedro-Pablo Prudencio, the comic opera Don Pasquale will be presented on the stage of the Municipal of Santiago, with the interpretation of the Santiago Philharmonic Orchestra and the Municipal Choir. Don Pasquale is a story full of entanglements, fun intrigues and biting social criticism, a late opera that stands out for its Balkan aesthetic, its beautiful and lyrical melodies, as well as its agile and light dramatic rhythm, which manages to challenge the viewer. This production was created for the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro and premiered at the Theater of the Italians in Paris on January 3, 1843.
