Event Details

Enjoy “Tononwitral: Woven Tales from the South of the World”, a beautiful exhibition at the Artequin Museum. Tononwitral means plot. And this exhibition is a great plot of woven stories and an invitation to live a journey through the worldview of the Mapuche world, an encounter with the material and immaterial heritage, built through knowledge, stories, objects and contexts from the south of our country. They are works carried out by 426 Mapuche weavers, from 88 communes in the country plus a delegation from Argentina, who were part of the “Nguren 1km” initiative. WHEN: From September 13 to January 29, 2023. From Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. Weekends and holidays from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. WHERE: Museo Artequin. Portales Avenue 3530. TICKET: General Admission: $2,500. Boys, girls, students and the elderly: $1,000. Sunday entrance with Conscious Contribution.
