HERE to participate in a tour of the Franklin Neighborhood, one of the most traditional and beautiful corners of the capital, where visitors can experience a multifaceted market and a fascinating history.
The guided tour will provide an insight into the history of important heritage and tourist attractions, such as Huemul neighborhood, a model satellite city for the working class at the beginning of the 20th century, and the traditional Matadero Franklin Market. It will also feature period costumed characters from the Chilean Victorian Society group.
This activity will conclude in San Francisco and Placer Street , where attendees will be able to attend the
Living Culture Literary Fair in Franklin, a meeting of booksellers convened by the Cámara de Comercio Franklin Placer .The aim is to revitalize the neighborhood with cultural and commercial activities. The fair will feature music, dance, and publishing presentations, starting at noon.
