This May 24 and 25, during Heritage Day, you can enjoy a unique experience at the Museum of the War of the Pacific, discovering the impact of Chilean high society during the war through its charity bazaars and support for widows, orphans, and the wounded.
Visitors can explore historical galleries, visit a recreation of the Morro de Arica, and take photos in period costumes (outfits from the 19th century). In addition, a valuable collection of original relics will be on display, such as General Manuel Baquedano's sword, fragments of the Huáscar's armor, medals, uniforms, weapons, and authentic photographs of the conflict.
When: Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Where: Cienfuegos 50-B, Santiago (just steps from the Los Héroes metro station).
Free admission, no registration required.
