The Casa Colorada Museum invited everyone to the work “Sounds of America”, which seeks to capture the essence of the sound landscapes that have given identity to every corner of our continent by performing three works that capture that essence: The quartet n°12 “ Americano” by Czech composer Antonín Dvorák, Quartet No. 1 by Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-lobos, as well as Las Danzas Latinoamericanas by Mexican composer José Elizondo. This recital seeks to be a tribute to the cultural richness of our continent, since each piece is an expression of the stories, traditions and landscapes that have shaped American identity and aesthetics.
