Learn about the temporary exhibition of Gonzalo Figueroa where it presents the legacy of the prominent archaeologist Gonzálo Figueroa García Huidobro, recognized for his work in the conservation of the archaeological heritage of Rapa Nui. The exhibition includes photographs, letters, notebooks and field notebooks of the archaeologist, highlighting his participation in Thor Heyerdahl's expedition to Rapa Nui along with the conservation and restoration of the Ahu Akivi moai with William Mulloy. It is complemented by Rapanui pieces from the collection of the Anthropology Area of the National Museum of Natural History, as well as the complete projection of the 1935 filming in Rapa Nui made by Humberto Fuenzalida Villegas.
