The ski lift that enabled the western slope of Cerro Colorado to be implemented for practicing winter sports was inaugurated in September, 1953. Nowadays this Snowpark is considered to be the best in South America.
The center features 75 kilometers of land suitable for skiing, which is equal to 112 ski runs. A ski and snowboard school is also available.
