A large area for skiing and snowboarding, just 36 km away from Santiago. It features a particularly dry snow quality. In 1948, the first mountain village was built with stone houses, similar to Swiss chalets, which are still here today. The Hotel Posada in Farellones offers free daily shuttles to La Parva and El Colorado ski centers, as well as trips to Valle Nevado.
