Overview
It is a heritage library open to the community, where you can consult and research Chilean history, heritage, and the museum’s collections.
It has approximately 18.000 copies covering a wide variety of topics, such as the history of Santiago, genealogy, folklore, photography, biographies, architecture, among others. It also houses the archive of Zig-Zag Magazine, from 1905 to 1961, which can be requested in its original format.
Texts can be consulted directly in the Library by searching the online catalog www.bncatalogo.gob.cl, by going to “Other catalogs” and “Museum catalogs”.
