Inside the Catholic University’s Main Building, an imposing neoclassical building built in the early 20th century, you can enjoy the interesting offerings of the Copper Casa Central restaurant and cafe. Both spaces offer a heritage-inspired atmosphere, ideal for enjoying sweet and savory dishes at any time.
The Cafeteria awaits visitors with traditional breakfasts, waffles, sourdough pizza, salads, and omelets, such as a classic French omelet made with eggs, mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, basil, and seeds.
And the restaurant is a real find, as it is located in an underground wine cellar dating back to the 1800s. Its menu showcases dishes such as Southern Hake; the traditional French stew, Bouef Bourgignon, made with slow-cooked beef, baked potatoes, and sautéed vegetables; and the homemade dough lasagna with sautéed vegetables, a mild Parmesan sauce, and topped with a Parmesan tuille. This is basically woven Parmesan cheese.
And if it’s dessert, the Suspiro Limeño and Tiramisu are good options to finish off the Copper experience with sweetness.
