Located on General Mackenna Street, reaching the corner with San Martín, this specialty coffee shop awaits its diners at the indoor tables or on its cozy terrace closed and heated in winter, or open in summer. And it is the only specialty coffee shop of this area in downtown Santiago, whose coffee comes from Nicaragua, Guatemala, Brazil, Colombia and Ethiopia; and is roasted weekly.
It has a large sweet menu, where lemon pie, walnut kuchen, fresh croissants, vegan cereal bars with and without sugar, cinnamon roll and this one deserves its own recognition, its leaf litter, manjar and raspberry cake. To accompany coffee, there are also salty options such as the classic cheese and ham sandwich, scrambled eggs, avocado and egg toast; in addition to the vegan chickpea croquette sandwich alternative.
Doce 95 coffee also offers homemade lunches that change every day, so you can try and be surprised by the Charquicán, Lentils and Noodles among other preparations and as you can’t miss the desserts, they offer artisanal ice creams with surprising flavors like Hazelnut chocolate, red fruits, toasted flour and Swiss chocolate.
