Lofchen is a mapudungun word that means alive house , it is a family entrepreneurship focused in national seal gastronomy. among its varied homemade menu you can find traditional recipes such as “Pastel de Choclo”, “Cazuela de Vacuno”, “Cognac Chicken”, “Lomo a lo Pobre” and fish variety, although national dishes are the speciality it’s also possible to get some international dishes such as “Lomo Saltado”.
as for the bar this is distinguished by own authorship cocktails, among them “susurros del viento” (Gin, Violet syrup, cherry liquor, orange juice), Lofchen ( Pisco, lemon juice, sauco flower liquor, fresh basil, ice, lemon slice), Gin Rose Juliette (rosehip, blueberry Syrup, berries, lemon, ginger and ginger ale soda), Rum Golden Joachim ( golden rum, coconut liquor, passion fruit, orange juice and honey syrup) and the Eve’s apple bees ( Jack Daniel´s apple, cinnamon syrup, Sydra and smoked cinnamon). it also counts with a varied cocktail menu like “Trikahue” (Pisco, Araucano Lemon, and ginger ale soda), “Del Huerto” (Pisco, lemon, mint, cucumber, rosemary and berries), “Pichuncho” (Pisco, Vermouth Rosso and Amargo de Angostura) and the “Rompe Olas” (Pisco, Lemon, pineapple, gum, and Campari).
Another characteristic of Lofchen is the pleasant atmosphere of its external terrace, the main lounge and the internal terrace, that are available for reservations for private events like baby showers, birthdays among many others.
