With over fifty years of gastronomic tradition and intact recipes from their origin, the “Antigua Fuente” restaurant keeps standing out from the other food joints of Santiago thanks to its renown chilean sandwiches.
This joint brings a great experience and a unique atmosphere in which you can see the huge griddle where all dishes are prepared that can be seen by all visitors and diners that are waiting for their dishes to be brought to their tables or bar.
Among the main dishes of the menu are the “Lomo Completo”, pork loin, sauerkraut, natural tomato sauce, homemade mayonnaise and homemade bread. The “Fricandela Italiana”, a big, homemade meatball that goes with tomato sauce, avocado, homemade mayonnaise and fresh homemade bread. The “Churrasco” it’s also a highlight of the menu in all of its varieties. As well as the “Vienesas” (Hot dogs) and “Chacareros”.
Without a doubt, the dish that takes all the attention is the “Rumano”, a mix of pork meat and beef, with lots of garlic and chili, prepared on a griddle, which just as every other sandwich, can be requested to be prepared in any way such as “especial”, “completo”, with avocado, “rusa” or by itself. They also offer tartars.
