Known as “La Unión Chica” for its proximity to the Club de la Unión, this historic establishment has been operating on New York Street since the 1940s and awaits diners with traditional Chilean dishes.
The interior rooms and its bar maintain the architecture, details and original atmosphere, the same one that hosted the visit and gatherings of the poets Jorge Tellier, Pablo de Rokha and Vicente Huidobro.
Its offer of typical national dishes is distinguished by quality and abundance, among them, Beans with sausage, Rolled with beans or added to your choice, Tongue with added, Madrid-style tripe, as well as a good variety of fish preparations such as salmon, conger eel, hake or pippin – each with its own addition – or the renowned Caldillo de congrio.
And to accompany it, diners can choose between Pipeño, Cola de mono, Jarras de Clery with white wine and cherimoya or, in its Burgundy format. It also has a good supply of bottles of wine and spirits.
