In the heart of the Lastarria neighborhood is this unique gastronomic corner, with 1,800 m2 distributed over three levels, each carefully decorated with elements of Chile of yesterday and today. It occupies what was the Casa Valdés Freire, a building from 1906, designed by Alberto Cruz Montt, the same architect of Stock market building and the Club de La Unión.

You can find a good sample of the national gastronomy at Bar Liguria with traditional recipes such as Corn Cake, Osobuco with malt with spicy puree, Baked Plateada, Arrollado de Huaso with avocado puree and Grilled Talbacora with vegetables, among other preparations that come to life in a kitchen with cutting-edge technology and provide an experience that is a guarantee of great flavor.

If you visit, you can also opt for a good selection of traditional sandwiches, among which the Mechada, Bife de lomo, Barros Luco and the traditional Chacarero stand out, as well as various snacks such as Machas a la parmesana, Pichanga or Pollo al pil pil .

When it comes to drinking, it has an excellent menu of wines, beers, spirits and Creole-type cocktails, such as Queltehue (ulmo honey ice cream, frangelico and Jack Daniel’s), Tricahue (pisco, araucano, lemon juice and ginger ale), Palma de Horcón (pisco, ginger, lemon and palm honey) and Ramito de Violeta (tea, lemon juice, gum and violet syrup).

Merced, 298, Santiago.
