The space CAVA is a new art gallery, placed in the underground of the Cousiño Palace, which occupies the former warehouse of wines of the old Cousiño family, where the Cousiño Macul Vineyard would have initiated the distribution of products.
The works of restoration of the Palace, after the earthquake in February 27th, 2010, allowed to discover this space and to enable it as a place to receive temporary exhibitions, as painting, engraving, water-color, drawing and sculptures. Also it is destined for the exhibition of creations of decorative arts and design, as furniture, textiles, goldwork and enamel. Hereby, it gives continuity to the line of the trades and decorative arts present in the Cousiño Palace.
